Description

Neuvirth is seeking a full-time qualified Pipe Laborer to install sanitary, storm, & water piping on civil
and private projects.

Requirements

  • Dependable and willing to report to work on time.
  • Able to work independently and with a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Possess verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to participate in job related training and development courses.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own transportation to various work sites within the Omaha & surrounding suburbs
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test.
  • 10 or 30-Hour OSHA Certification (we will provide training if necessary)
  • Confined Space (we will provide training if necessary)
Required Skills:
  • Highschool Education
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to finish concrete.
  • Ability to read stakes, set up lasers, and understand percent of slope.
  • Function in Excavated trench boxes up to 20vf deep

Responsibilities

Complete projects from start to finish by:
  • Understanding blueprints
  • Working under the supervision of a Foreman
  • Performing skilled manual Labor laying pipe in various sizes and configurations
  • Making Tie-ins to structures
  • Applying Cement, mortar, tar or paint
  • Sealing cracks (sometimes from within the underground pipe)
  • Clear around pipe to make repairs.
  • Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment of pipe.
